Latino Ministry

Worship

We seek and share God’s Word through our worship services.

Worship Service

Our service starts at 9:30 am on Sundays.  Children can attend Sunday school during the service, be cared for in the nursery, or attend worship with their parents.

We follow the Episcopal Rite II Service listed in our prayer book.  Service consists of prayer, singing, scripture reading, sermon and communion.  All Christians, regardless of denomination, are invited to participate and receive communion.. 

Worship Team

Our worship team consists of the following groups:

Priest

Our priest, Father Jeff Bower, is the leader of the worship team and guides us through the Sunday service.

Altar Guild

The members of St. John’s Altar Guild are very dedicated and approach their ministry with reverence.  They prepare the church, altar, and sacraments for worship.

Ushers

Ushers prepare the building for worship.  During the service they assist newcomers and with the sacraments and offering

Music

Music has always been an important element of our worship.  The current team consists of a choir director, organist and singers.

Acolytes

The acolyte team fulfills the positions of crucifer, server, and two torch bearers.
