OutreachWe serve God’s Word through our following outreach programs.St. John’s Storehouse (Food Pantry)St. John’s Storehouse is our main outreach activity. It began in 2004 with a small group of dedicated people who initially served 4 to 5 families a month. It has grown significantly. Now, approximately 45 to 50 families are served at our monthly distribution. We provide a “Storehouse” feature where clients are offered items like make-up and over the counter medicine that are not available at other food pantries. We give client families complete dinners for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. The team also provides a pancake breakfast for families once a quarter. It has had a very positive effect on both the clients and the congregation.St. John’s provides meeting space for the following groups:Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-AnonCub ScoutsGirl ScoutsEagledale Little LeagueClarian Health Childbirth Education Program (Mother Connection for mothers of infants and toddlers, and Post-Partum Depression counseling and support group)Tai ChiNimkii Band of the Woodland Metis Tribe (Native American)Liberian Association of IndianaEpiscopal CharitiesWe financially support the following Episcopal Charities: Episcopal Fund for Human Need, Episcopal Relief and Development, and United Thank Offering
